Rates

Teaching: $25 per half-hour. Most beginners start with 30-minute lessons and transition to hour-long lessons as they become more advanced. Lesson books are provided free of charge.

Accompanying: $25 per half-hour of rehearsal plus $50 per song or movement. If I were accompanying a singer performing the first set of Bolcom Cabaret Songs, for example, and we had two hour-long rehearsals before the performance, I would bill $400 ($100 for the two rehearsals and $300 for the six songs in the set).

Church services: $150 per service, to include prelude, postlude, offertory, two hymns, and one musical meditation.

Funerals: $300 per service, to include prelude, postlude, two hymns, and up to two additional pieces (meditation, accompaniment, etc.). This fee also includes planning and coordination with family, soloists, funeral directors, and ministry.

Weddings: $800 per service, to include prelude, processional, recessional, postlude, two hymns, and up to two additional pieces (meditation, accompaniment, etc.). This fee also includes planning and coordination with family, soloists, wedding planners, and ministry.
